After months and months of speculation, the waiting game is almost up for fans of Fergie with her second album ‘Double Dutchess’ scheduled to be released on September 22.
Fans of Fergie Ferg have been anxiously awaiting her second album for what seems like an enternity after she released the DJ Mustard banger ‘L.A. LOVE’ in 2014 before releasing singles ‘Milf. $’ and ‘Life Goes On’ whilst performing at festivals worldwide where she teased new material.
Earlier this year, the singer announced she had left her long time of home of Interscope for BMG whom she has also partnered with to form her own label Dutchess Music and it seems like it’s now all systems go for the boss lady.
Not only has Fergie announced the release date and tracklisting for the follow up to 2006’s The Dutchess but she has also announced it to include a visual experience entitled ‘Seeing Double.’ The experience will be screening exclusively at iPic Theaters on September 20. Alternatively you can preorder it as part of the release here.
Whilst we wait patiently for September 22, Fergie has kindly released two tracks from the album alongiside the preorder. Both are superstar collaborations, with ‘You Already Know’ featuring Nicki Minaj, and ‘Hungry’ featuring Rick Ross.
‘You Already Know’, produced by Fergie’s close friend and Black Eyed Peas bandmate will.i.am, is a pop smash with both ladies in their element on this feel good throwback. ‘Hungry’ on the other side is a darker, grittier sound and is accompanied by an alluring visual.
We’re so glad to see Fergie back in the game, where she belongs. ‘The Dutchess’ is still a regular jam for us and brought pop so many defining moments and we hope she can do it again with this one!
