Angelina Jolie is never one to sit around without something to do. Whether she’s caring for her six kids, working on a new movie or spending time with her new husband, Brad Pitt, she’s a woman on the go. And she’s just made a comment that she’s not ruling out being an even busier working mom and wife. The actress is open to running for office. She doesn’t specify which one, of course, but that doesn’t mean she’s not open to it.
“I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful – I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that could make it less possible, “ she said of her political aspirations. However, she’s open to one day running for office because her main goal in life is to make the world a better place, and being in a position of power affords her that opportunity.
“When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility,” she goes on to say of potentially making political runs in the future.
She says she “is open,” to the idea of running for office and then she makes a quick change of topic to discuss her new marriage to Brad Pitt. “It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife,” she says of her new marriage. She says that their children wrote their own vows for their wedding day. “They did not expect us never to fight. But they made us promise to always say sorry if we do,” she said of her kids desire to see their parents make up at the end of their arguments. Sounds like a pretty good wedding vow to us!
