Loutelious "T. J." Holmes, Jr. is an American journalist and national television personality. Holmes became nationally famous for the first time as a host and reporter for CNN. He spent 5 years working with CNN on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Holmes left CNN in late 2011 after signing a cross-platform talent contract with BET Networks. The deal includes a new BET program called Don't Sleep. BET and Holmes went their separate ways in 2013 after the show was canceled. In December 2012, Holmes became an alternate weekend host on MSNBC. He also appeared on CNN as an alternate reporter and an anchor at the same time. On September 26, 2014, Holmes submitted a report to Good Morning America. On September 27, 2014, Good Morning America Weekend officially welcomed him to ABC News as a reporter and presenter.
